Strengths
Big-time size and natural athleticism. Great overall fluidity in movements. Long strider with exceptional build-up speed. Tremendous feet and hips to throttle down and break in/out of routes. Deceptive at the top of routes. Terrific combination of smoothness and suddenness breaking off routes. Able to run more complex routes. Big target on deep and intermediate in-breaking routes. Sets up deep corner routes. Impressive shake on releases. Very smooth on inside releases. Will set up a vertical start and break inside. Very fluid sinking his hips and creating separation on pivot routes. Stacks cornerbacks to get vertical. Creates a ton of separation on comeback routes. Very deceptive on double moves. Ran plenty of deep over routes. Has played in the slot and is a likely mismatch versus smaller opponents. Knows how to work vertically from the slot. Hands are big and strong. Natural ball skills with an ability to make one-handed snags. Brings in passes thrown behind him. Presents a target working back to the quarterback. Outstanding ability to reach up for high-point catches. Comfortable bringing in low passes. Very strong to bring in passes with defenders on his back. Great getting his feet down along the sideline. Attacks the ball on stop routes and works back to the quarterback in general. Clearly wants the ball on broken plays and presents a target by running to open space. Excellent run-after-catch ability. Smooth turning into a runner and doesn’t break stride catching the ball. Very strong and elusive as a runner. Fast making a juke move and continuing to roll. Exceptional vision and feel with the ball in his hands. Intelligent overall player. Has a cannon and impressive field awareness for trick plays. Completely roasted New Mexico with a 10/304/4 line in the 2024 opener and was missed on another long would-be touchdown.
Weaknesses
Want to see him consistently locked in from play to play. Coasts on too many routes. Had too many drops considering his ball skills. Inconsistent tracking the deep ball. Needs to be better defeating press jams at his size. Very inconsistent sustaining blocks. Low effectiveness hitting/engaging as a blocker in space.

Conclusion
Overall, McMillan is a big, athletic wide receiver that can run routes at a high level and do serious damage with the ball in his hands. If he can be more consistent, the talent is certainly there to be an impact pass-catcher for an NFL offense.
