Strengths

Strong and muscular build. No-nonsense runner that gets downhill. Very physical. Runs low with tremendous power and strength. Terrific overall balance. Absorbs low hits and keeps moving. Always keeps his feet moving. Excellent pacing and vision between the tackles. Excellent burst/acceleration through the hole. Will press runs outside and cut behind his blockers. Accelerates to capture the corner when bouncing runs. Uses a shuffle cut while getting skinny through a crease. Very good backside vision to recognize cutback opportunities. Exceptional quickness and instincts to avoid early backfield penetration. Can brush off tackles by interior defensive linemen that get a hand on him. Uses subtle wiggle to avoid reaching defenders. Lowers his shoulder/shoulders to initiate contact. Extremely quick and powerful stiff arm. Will truck defenders in the open field. Can bowl over an opponent with a head of steam. Fights for extra yardage upon contact. Excellent goal-line and short-yardage runner with a nose for the end zone. Will get hit short of the goal line and power into the end zone. Very effective running behind a fullback in heavy personnel. Covers the ball on the second level. Urgent getting out on routes. Effective on simple flare routes. Good speed on wheel routes out of the backfield. Shows soft hands on underneath passes. Catches the ball and immediately gets up the field. Terrific vision and field awareness as a pass-catcher. Outstanding in pass protection. Strong and aggressive taking on blitzers. Often used as a lead blocker in creative rushing scheme and provided physicality. Went off in the CFP National Championship with three total touchdowns (2024).

Weaknesses

A bit stiff in terms of fluidity of movements. Average creativity versus more aggressive tacklers. Inconsistent feel on counter runs. Less effective sensing backfield penetration coming from the edges. Lacks a top gear to run away in space. Hands can be less reliable deeper down the field.
