The 2025 NFL season kicks off this Thursday night, and our latest video on YouTube hits on three big predictions for the year—one from the AFC, one from the NFC, and a Super Bowl LX pick.

Steelers are competitive in January
The prediction for the AFC is that the Steelers not only make the postseason again under head coach Mike Tomlin—but that they are more competitive this season. Basically, the prediction is that Aaron Rodgers in Pittsburgh works out for 2025, due in part to the backing of what should be a strong defense with an elite secondary led by Joey Porter Jr., Jalen Ramsey, and Darius Slay at cornerback. The Steelers haven’t matched up well with playoff teams in their past few appearances, but that could change this season.
Three NFC West teams make the playoffs
In a crowded NFC which includes a loaded NFC North division and two NFC East teams—the Eagles and the Commanders—many expect to compete for a Super Bowl, the bold prediction for the conference is that the NFC West gets three teams in the postseason. All of the Rams, 49ers, Seahawks, and Cardinals could win the division—and the standings could easily go in any order.
Super Bowl LX pick
The Chiefs, Eagles, and Bills are among the potential Super Bowl squads. But the prediction for Super Bowl LX is a matchup between the Lions and the Ravens—with Detroit winning its first Super Bowl. The Lions have a loaded roster, which should help make this a thrilling matchup against Lamar Jackson and Derrick Henry.
