2025 NFL Power Rankings: Week 13

Let’s go with a rapid-fire Week 13 NFL power rankings ahead of Thanksgiving.

1. Denver Broncos (9-2) | Last week: 1

The Broncos emerge from the bye to take on the Commanders and Raiders on the road—two teams they should be able to handle but should not take lightly as they look to get to 11-2.

2. Los Angeles Rams (9-2) | Last week: 5 (+3)

People were able to see in primetime what a difference Davante Adams is making for the Rams, as he’s basically unstoppable in scoring territory to finish off drives.

3. Philadelphia Eagles (8-3) | Last week: 2 (-1)

The run game for Philadelphia being unable to get going with the lead at Dallas is an issue that’ll hopefully get solved when looking ahead to the postseason.

4. Detroit Lions (7-4) | Last week: 6 (+2)

Jahmyr Gibbs (264 yards, three touchdowns) is probably the NFL’s top weapon right now, carrying the Lions to victory over the Giants with the defense surprisingly struggling in a major way.

5. New England Patriots (10-2) | Last week: 7 (+2)

Hunter Henry had a big game to take advantage of a Bengals defense that’s struggled mightily against opposing tight ends, and the New England defense got a key stop late (arguably getting away with pass interference on Mike Gesicki) to become the first 10-win team.

6. Indianapolis Colts (8-3) | Last week: 3 (-3)

Second-year star pass rusher Laiatu Latu’s interception leading to a quick score for the Colts helped them jump on Kansas City early, and the defense played impressively on the road—but the offense stalling in the fourth quarter ultimately killed their chances at a massive win.

7. Buffalo Bills (7-4) | Last week: 4 (-3)

Both sides of the ball for Buffalo were extremely disappointing in the loss to Houston. While the Texans aren’t a great matchup for the Bills, the inconsistency remains a problem.

8. Baltimore Ravens (6-5) | Last week: 8

The Ravens took care of the Jets behind strong defense and two Derrick Henry touchdowns, winning their fifth straight to climb back to a tie for first in the AFC North.

9. San Francisco 49ers (8-4) | Last week: 9

The third one was an especially outstanding play by Jaycee Horn, who came from the other side of the field in zone coverage, but Brock Purdy’s three first-half interceptions might’ve been somewhat of a sign of rust he’s still shaking off.

10. Chicago Bears (8-3) | Last week: 10

I can’t say enough about the job Ben Johnson has done in Year 1, with the latest win over the Steelers setting up an awesome Black Friday matchup with a fellow 8-3 Eagles squad—ending the alliance.

11. Kansas City Chiefs (6-5) | Last week: 12 (+1)

A fourth-quarter comeback to eventually win in overtime—with both sides of the ball stepping up when they needed it most—could be the type of thing that jolts the Chiefs to get their mojo back.

12. Seattle Seahawks (8-3) | Last week: 11 (-1)

Jaxon Smith-Njigba already set the single-season franchise record in receiving yards (1,313) with two touchdowns to headline a win that was a bit more comfortable than the 30-24 score might indicate.

13. Green Bay Packers (7-3-1) | Last week: 13

Micah Parsons (two sacks) and the Packers defense buried the Vikings, with just 145 yards allowed. Green Bay is likely confident they can go into Detroit and get a win after totally controlling the season opener.

14. Houston Texans (6-5) | Last week: 15 (+1)

Will Anderson Jr. and Danielle Hunter had a field day in getting after Josh Allen without the chips they’re used to seeing as premier pass rushers, and the Texans now have two prime opportunities with both matchups with the Colts still on the schedule.

15. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (6-5) | Last week: 14 (-1)

Baker Mayfield’s left shoulder injury didn’t help, but the Bucs remain in a rut with three consecutive losses while the defense has been lit up by the Pats, Bills, and Rams. We’ll see if Bucky Irving’s return after missing seven games due to shoulder and foot injuries gives the team an injection of energy.

16. Pittsburgh Steelers (6-5) | Last week: 16

The defense had a down game aside from T.J. Watt’s strip sack fumble recovered for a touchdown by Nate Herbig (which got T.J. past J.J.’s career sack total), but I like some of what the Steelers are showing on offense in getting the ball to Kenneth Gainwell on quick passes to keep the offense ahead of the sticks.

17. Jacksonville Jaguars (7-4) | Last week: 17

Trevor Lawrence came through late, but he simply must cut down on boneheaded plays given his experience—though perhaps he’s still adjusting to Liam Coen’s offense.

18. Los Angeles Chargers (7-4) | Last week: 18

Off the bye week, the Chargers are expected to get running back Omarion Hampton back from his ankle injury in a game they really need against the Raiders given the schedule over the final five games.

19. Dallas Cowboys (5-5-1) | Last week: 20 (+1)

The stat about George Pickens having more receiving yards than Steelers receivers combined is amazing, and Jerry Jones and the Cowboys front office—which has been under fire—deserves a lot of praise for that difference-making trade.

20. Carolina Panthers (6-6) | Last week: 19 (-1)

I can’t wrap my head around the Panthers not feeding Rico Dowdle, who is very clearly a huge impact guy with the ball in his hands right now.

21. Cincinnati Bengals (3-8) | Last week: 23 (+2)

While the Bengals are 3-8 with some questioning whether Joe Burrow should be playing in his return from a severe toe injury, they still have two games left with the Ravens—so they’re by no means out of the playoff race yet. It’ll be fun to see Burrow back on Thanksgiving Night.

22. Miami Dolphins (4-7) | Last week: 22

The AFC wild card spots are going to be tougher to crack, but the Dolphins are favored the next two games versus the Saints and Jets as they emerge from the bye and look to stack good weeks together.

23. Minnesota Vikings (4-7) | Last week: 21 (-2)

Hopefully J.J. McCarthy (concussion protocol) is feeling OK, but I’d be curious to see what the offense looks like with Max Brosmer at quarterback given how Kevin O’Connell has talked about the undrafted rookie’s intelligence.

24. Arizona Cardinals (3-8) | Last week: 24

The Cardinals defense flew around but couldn’t capitalize while utilizing another super pass happy approach on offense (perhaps out of necessity with the run game struggling).

25. Atlanta Falcons (4-7) | Last week: 25

On defense, rookies Xavier Watts, with a fantastic interception in the end zone, and pass rushers James Pearce Jr. and Jalon Walker (2.5 combined sacks) were standouts in the win against the Saints. Kirk Cousins played well as he looks to show he can still get it done over the final several games.

26. Washington Commanders (3-8) | Last week: 26

It sounds like Jayden Daniels will not be ready to go with his elbow injury as the Commanders return from the bye, but ideally you’ll see Dan Quinn’s club compete like they did in Spain.

27. Cleveland Browns (3-8) | Last week: 31 (+4)

Shedeur Sanders is ultra confident after being the first Browns starting quarterback to win his first career start since 1995, and—while it was the Raiders—there’s no question the high-profile rookie brings an energy to the team and can threaten defenses down the field much more than Dillon Gabriel did.

28. New York Jets (2-9) | Last week: 27 (-1)

As two positives for the Jets in their loss to the Ravens: they continue to play hard under Aaron Glenn, and John Metchie III (six receptions for 65 yards) stood out now that he has a nice role on offense.

29. New Orleans Saints (2-9) | Last week: 28 (-1)

With Alvin Kamara (knee) looking likely to miss time, I’m curious to see how much Taysom Hill is involved as an ultra-versatile weapon on offense.

30. Tennessee Titans (1-10) | Last week: 32 (+1)

Cameron Ward appears to be getting more comfortable as the weeks progress, and the Titans are competing the past three games—giving them an earned bump up the power rankings.

31. New York Giants (2-10) | Last week: 29 (-1)

Defensive coordinator Shane Bowen was fired after another blown lead by the Giants, who are the first team eliminated from playoff contention in 2025.

32. Las Vegas Raiders (2-9) | Last week: 30 (-2)

Things are getting ridiculous in Vegas, with the team firing offensive coordinator Chip Kelly as their second coordinator firing of the season. Kelly obviously wasn’t going to solve major personnel and offensive line issues, and it’s odd that he was the highest-paid OC in the league and talked to Tom Brady routinely but was let go in Year 1.
