K: Will Reichard, MIN
Season stats: 33–35 FG | 7–7 40-49 YDS | 11-13 50+ YDS | 31–31 PAT
Minnesota didn’t have as many scoring opportunities as they would have liked, but Reichard was nearly perfect this season, as he hit every kick under 50 yards and all his extra points. And remember, one of his misses came on a long-distance attempt that hit a sky-cam wire in London (although the NFL denied it), so Reichard really had just one miss on 66 overall kicks this year.
P: Jordan Stout, BAL
Season stats: 53 P | 2,657 YDS | 50.1 AVG | 44.9 NET | 24 IN20
Stout has been one of the NFL’s better punters since entering the league out of Penn State, and this season was his best yet with career-highs in yards per punt (50.1) and net average (44.9). Also, 45.3% of Stout’s punts landed inside the 20, and he was clutch in the season finale with three of his four opportunities landing there despite the eventual loss to the Steelers.
KR: Ray Davis, BUF
Season stats: 31 KR | 943 YDS | 30.4 AVG | 1 TD
Davis led the NFL in kick return average this season (30.4), and the highlight was a 97-yard touchdown—featuring a sick spin move—in a primetime battle versus Houston. The second-year back also shined in a shootout win over Tampa Bay with three returns of 41+ yards, and his running style is an ideal fit for the new kickoff rule.
PR: Marcus Jones, NE
Season stats: 21 PR | 363 YDS | 17.3 AVG | 2 TD
Titans rookie Chimere Dike (who had two touchdowns), Parker Washington (two touchdowns), and Marvin Mims Jr. (one touchdown) were others who could have been selected here, but Jones had his best season yet—and now ranks No. 1 in NFL history for punt return average (14.3). The danger of Jones with the ball in his hands made teams avoid him altogether, and he’s a key defender for the Pats as well.
ST: Devon Key, DEN
Season stats: 28 TKL | 1 FF
Key had an outstanding season as a core special teamer for Denver, as he routinely was in on tackles both in kick and punt coverage (for comparison, Key had 28 tackles, and Brenden Schooler had 13 tackles as our selection in 2024). A perfect form tackle to force a fumble of Deebo Samuel Sr. on a kick return was one of the highlights by Key, and special teams were crucial all year based on all the close games for the Broncos.
