Strengths
Active and energetic movement skills. Excellent length at his size. Twitchy overall athlete. Great first-step quickness and burst. Very agile and light on his feet. Outstanding overall speed. Excellent speed rush. Tremendous agility to turn the corner. Uses rip moves around the edge. Shows dip as he bends around the edge. Springy off the ball and into dip moves. Very good balance making moves and taking contact. Spin move is deceptive and sudden. Spin move is effective both inside and outside. Terrific burst coming out of spin moves to finish. Very quick inside move after starting his rush at the outside shoulder of offensive tackles. Impressive strength for his size. Accurate getting to the chest of blockers on delayed power rushes. Generates push making an inside move on guards. Often drew multiple blockers. Will look to poke the ball out while being blocked. Breaks down under control with a clear shot at the quarterback. Mostly used as a stand-up rusher but can put his hand in the ground. Experience on both sides of the formation. Saw snaps as a quarterback spy. Quick getting up for deflections. Excellent play recognition and eyes to find the ball in the backfield. Tremendous awareness to diagnose runs early and position himself to make the play. Wraps up effectively as a tackler. Very quick overall reaction time. Very effective crashing down to tackle. Quick to side step a blocker inside. Great pursuit hustle behind the line of scrimmage. Very good pursuit chasing the ball to the perimeter. Recorded 3.0 sacks versus Kansas quarterback Jalon Daniels (2025).
Weaknesses
Average overall size for the next level. Can stall and have trouble freeing himself as a rusher if he doesn’t get off the ball quickly. Would like to see more moves to split or try to defeat double teams. Lacks pure physicality and disruption versus the run if he doesn’t win with awareness and athleticism early. Could be more relentless tracking the ball away from the action.

Conclusion
Overall, Bailey is a twitchy, energetic pass rusher with outstanding speed, a great spin move, and impressive strength for his size. The lack of consistent impact versus the run could be a concern, but the instincts shown are very encouraging.
