Strengths

Good overall size and plus length. Quick off the ball and slipping between blockers. Penetrates off the ball and forces runs to go elsewhere. Very instinctive. Uses a side-step move at the snap. Gets low to create leverage underneath blockers while keeping his footing. Tremendous ability to get to a spot while engaged to force running backs to cut. Outstanding vision and feel to position himself for tackles at the line of scrimmage. Very quick hands to shed. Does a great job breaking down to tackle when ball-carriers cut back. Excellent technique wrapping up. Quick feet to suddenly stop and square up. Able to slip off blocks. Very effective tackling in the hole. Aggressive getting in on tackles inside. High effort working with active hands working laterally. Flashed big-time power in his hands to jolt back opponents on contact. Extends and powers back blockers as a run defender. Quick to recognize outside runs and will pursue all the way to the sideline. Will engage and control blockers towards the ball on outside runs. Prevents blockers from pinning him inside to pursue perimeter runs. Great burst and speed for an interior defensive lineman. Shows desired pursuit hustle chasing runs to the sideline. Athletic finishing tackles in space. Outstanding balance and strength to absorb pulls. Showed fire after stoning a cross-formation pull by Tennessee (2025). Natural strength to not get uprooted. Strong holding his ground when blockers try moving him from the side. Extends and has a strong base with opponents trying to block him diagonally. Low off the ball and can torpedo at the center in short-yardage situations. Excellent overall awareness and play recognition. Saw a trick play by Alabama and stayed home on quarterback Ty Simpson (2025). Very quick splitting blockers at the snap to generate interior pressure. Active feet to push the pocket as a rusher. Uses shake as a rusher. Fights between double teams as a rusher. Impressive fluidity looping on stunts. Great acceleration when resetting his path as a rusher. Athletic changing his rush path. Scary closing on the quarterback with a head of steam.

Weaknesses

Can get taken down and out by bigger blockers. Powered to the ground when stronger opponents latch on. Pushed out too much slanting to the outside at times. Could have more consistent hand usage as a rusher. Often pressured the quarterback but rarely got home for sacks.

Conclusion

Overall, Miller is an all-around defensive lineman who can penetrate, play with leverage inside, and pursue runs to the edge. He profiles as either a one-technique or three-technique and has upside to be more productive as a rusher based on the flashes shown.
