Strengths

Gets downhill on inside runs. Quick feet making downhill cuts. Great acceleration and burst through the hole. Excellent power at his size. Physical overall runner. Consistently lowers his shoulder to finish runs. Exceptional speed in the open field. Natural feel for the path to maximize yardage when he breaks through the second level on inside runs. Quick jump cut behind a block in the backfield. Puts his foot in the ground and goes when he sees a crease on runs up the middle. Great vision and decisiveness near the goal line. Innate feel for the rush path at the goal line. Physical running at linebackers on the second level in goal-line situations. Runs hard in short-yardage situations. Stays up with very good strength running into a pile. Good vision on outside zone runs with clean blocking and a rushing lane inside. Outstanding burst turning the corner when he gets near the sideline on outside runs. Knows how to follow his blockers in space when things are set up. Strong brushing off tackle attempts from the side in the open field. Very effective juke move. Smooth cutting to avoid simple penetration in front of him an outside run. Used on orbit motion tosses and motion handoffs. Experience on speed options. Given the ball on fullback belly runs in a backfield with teammate Kaytron Allen. Soft hands out of the backfield and on flare routes. Urgent getting out of the backfield as the checkdown. Fast on wheel routes. Ran seam routes from the backfield. Works to get open on scrambles. Very good hands further down the field when contested. Used on perimeter screens. Saw snaps aligned in the close slot. Stands in strong and is physical taking on blitzers in pass protection. Physical and accurate as a lead blocker. Showed passion after laying out an Oregon defender on a lead block (2025).

Weaknesses

Vision can be too focused inside and lead to missed opportunities to bounce runs. Could be more instinctive avoiding tackles and making defenders miss before he gets past the line of scrimmage. Can show more patience getting the handoff and recognizing a cutback opportunity. Would like to see more creativity making defenders miss and avoiding contact in general. Too often runs into defenders in the open field towards the sideline with an opportunity to run into space. Sometimes too slow accelerating to the perimeter on outside runs and will get tackled in the backfield.

Conclusion

Overall, Singleton is a decisive, downhill runner with burst, power, speed, physicality, and high effectiveness in the red zone. The lack of creativity and general inconsistency making defenders miss are concerns, but he should thrive behind a top offensive line.
