The Iceman Cometh… to the Madden cover.
Today, EA Sports revealed that Bears quarterback and former No. 1 overall pick Caleb Williams will be on the cover of Madden NFL 27, which makes him the first player in franchise history to earn the honor.

The worldwide release date for Madden 27 was also revealed (August 13), and you can also check out the Deluxe edition cover with Williams doing his signature “shivering” celebration to match the “Iceman” nickname from all the late-game magic he showed last season.
There will be a full reveal of Madden 27 along with College Football 27 tomorrow at 8 PM ET on the Madden YouTube channel, so it’ll be exciting to learn about all the changes this year—which I’m guessing will include new gameplay animations/mechanics to match what the cover athlete can do on the field.
‘EA Sports Madden NFL 27’ will release worldwide on August 13, and EA Play members can play with early access starting on August 6.
