EA Reveals Full Details For ‘Madden 27’ and ‘College Football 27’

On the heels of the cover athlete reveals earlier this week for EA Sports College Football 27 and EA Sports Madden NFL 27, last night was a joint reveal event for both games—with a two-hour presentation that you can watch here.

Plus, the reveal trailers are always well done, with College Football 27 showcasing this year’s game with Indiana head coach Curt Cignetti featured, and Madden 27 went big by having actor Vince Vaughn essentially run the show:

It should be encouraging that “GAMEPLAY ABOVE EVERYTHING” was the first thing discussed on the stream, and I would recommend reading the full Gameplay Deep Dive for a very detailed look into both games. In particular, there is much more control in terms of actual coaching strategy—from rolling coverage towards an opponent’s top receiver to gap integrity for your defensive front.

We will get deeper into the details in our reviews later this summer, but it’s difficult to not be encouraged by the increased level of detail like the Persona Engine in Madden Franchise Mode (you can read the deep dive here) or dynamic weather that can switch from light rain to a downpour from one play to the next. And I’m most excited about Seasonal Broadcast Variations with specific packages from Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas.

If you are interested in learning more, all the deep dives are packed with details about each game—both of which are now available for pre-order.

‘EA Sports College Football 27’ will release worldwide on July 9 (earliest access with MVP+ Membership on July 2), and ‘EA Sports Madden NFL 27’ will release worldwide on August 13 (earliest access with MVP+ Membership on August 6).
