Quentin Tarantino’s super-star-studded ninth movie is inching closer and closer. Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, starring Leonardo DiCaprio, Brad Pitt, Margot Robbie, Al Pacino, Timothy Olyphant, James Marsden, Burt Reynolds, Tim Roth, Damian Lewis, Kurt Russell, Michael Madsen, Dakota Fanning, Clifton Collins Jr., and more, had its first image released today, as DiCaprio posted a picture of himself and Pitt on Instagram, with the caption: “First look.”
The film is set to release in just over 13 months, so it’ll be here before we know it. If he sticks to his plan, Once Upon a Time in Hollywood will be Tarantino’s penultimate movie behind the camera. Tarantino previously worked with DiCaprio on Django Unchained (2012) and Pitt on Inglourious Basterds (2009).
Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, which is set in 1969 Los Angeles during the summer of the Manson murders (including of Sharon Tate, played by Robbie), features DiCaprio as a struggling actor and Pitt as his friend and stunt double.
Once Upon a Time in Hollywood hits theaters August 9, 2019.
