Strengths
Great awareness and instincts. Versatile with the ability to line up in various spots. Twitchy mover with good feet/quickness. Tremendous strength for his size. Excellent in matchup zone coverage. Can drop to defend slot receivers and tight ends from split safety alignment. Stays on top of tight ends to overcome a lack of size. Quick shuffling in coverage. Good burst and timing to break on the ball. Accurate getting a hand in to deflect passes. Experience in coverage as a dime linebacker. Sticks to nearby receivers on broken plays. Plus ball skills. Physical and aggressive coming up in run support. Extremely strong hands to wrangle down opponents. Does not hesitate to take on blockers in space. Very willing to get in on tackles and will throw his body into the pile. Tries ripping the ball out. Disguising blitzes with great timing. Brings energy and toughness to the defense.
Weaknesses
Lacks ideal speed and athleticism. Below-average length. Will take false steps in coverage. Sometimes creeps up too much versus the pass as a split safety. Shows some delay in reacting to breaks in man coverage. Can take poor angles going downhill and will miss with a grasping attempt. Allowed a touchdown over him in robber coverage on the final play of regulation versus LSU to nearly set up overtime before PAT was blocked (2022).

Conclusion
Overall, Robinson is a tough and versatile safety that is at his best when able to be the aggressor. Despite the lack of ideal measurements, the mindset of Robinson should boost an NFL defense as a strong safety that will tackle and effectively cover underneath.
