Strengths
Elite explosiveness. Excellent speed and acceleration. Great feet between the tackles. Early cuts are very quick. Great shuffle cut to square himself in front of a clear path behind the line of scrimmage. Very good contact balance while making and immediately following cuts. Can string together multiple cuts. Muscular build. Outstanding strength for his play style. Runs low and can get lost behind his offensive linemen. Able to lunge/drive forward on contact. Often used on shotgun tosses to get on the edge. Stiff arm is strong and compact. Shows a quick spin move to get out of a jam. Showed he can carry heavy workloads. Great hands. Very dangerous on wheel routes out of the backfield. Skillset should allow him to run more diverse routes. Has shown he will stand in strong as a pass blocker. Great identifying and picking up blitzers.
Weaknesses
Inconsistent vision. Doesn’t seem to have a natural feel for allowing things to develop between the tackles. Make some questionable decisions as a ball-carrier and will cut away from a better path in the open field. Has some stiffness making moves in space and lacks creativity when at full speed. Lacks make-you-miss ability versus penetration and will default to a spin. Would like to see him explode more through contact. Hands are shakier when he needs to fully extend. Will lower his eyes at times in pass protection. Had four fumbles in his final season.

Conclusion
Overall, Brown is an explosive runner that fits best as a change-of-pace option capable of breaking big plays and contributing in the passing game. He should draw consideration at the end of Round 3.
