We are entering the dead period of the NFL calendar, but football will take over again as the ultimate reality show soon enough. Today, the league announced the Bills will be featured on for the traditional version of Hard Knocks, while the NFC East is set to headline Hard Knocks: In Season.

The NFL loosened the criteria for the teams eligible for Hard Knocks starting this year, so it’s no surprise they decided to go with a powerhouse Buffalo squad. There will be no shortage of storylines with reigning NFL MVP Josh Allen sure to be a focus (though he might want to avoid the spotlight), and it’s not too early to predict second-year wide receiver Keon Coleman might steal the show.
For the in-season version of Hard Knocks, it’ll be awesome to follow the NFC East with the defending champion Eagles, rising Commanders, rebounding Cowboys, and pressure-filled Giants. Of course, New York didn’t love being on the first and only edition of Hard Knocks: Offseason, but they might provide the most intrigue of all four teams if the season goes off the rails.
Hard Knocks: Training Camp with the Buffalo Bills will premiere on August 5 on HBO Max, and Hard Knocks: In Season is set to premiere in December.
