The brand-new Paramount Network, which officially changed over from Spike TV last month, continues to position itself as a top-notch basic cable network. Today, the network released a trailer for its upcoming show, Yellowstone.
Headlined by Kevin Costner and also starring Wes Bentley, Kelly Reilly, Cole Hauser, and Luke Grimes, among others, Yellowstone looks like a potential hit for the network. The series was created by Taylor Sheridan, who wrote Sicario (2015), Hell or High Water (2016), and also played David Hale in FX’s Sons of Anarchy.
Those that have been watching Paramount Network’s hit limited series Waco probably know the channel is getting very serious and putting out great television. Paramount Network is attracting highly sought-after writers and premium actors to their new shows, and it appears they could be quickly becoming players on the level of FX and AMC.
Yellowstone premieres on June 20, 2018.
