The Rocky franchise will continue this fall with the sequel to hit spinoff Creed. Yesterday, the first poster for the movie was revealed, and today, the official trailer dropped:
It looks like Adonis is seeking to avenge his father’s death at the hands of Ivan Drago when he takes on his son, Viktor, but Rocky isn’t so sure it’s a good idea because he has “everything to lose,” just like Apollo did. This time, though, it won’t just be an exhibition for pride, as it looks like the title could be on the line between the American fighter and the Russian machine.
Creed 2 will be the eighth installment of the series, but if this trailer and the first movie are any indication, things look as promising as ever for fans of Rocky Balboa’s story.
