Adrian Peterson | Free Agent RB

Adrian Peterson handles 21 touches in win over the Jaguars.

Peterson rushed 19 times for 51 yards and caught two passes for 20 yards. The Redskins are still very much alive in the playoff race thanks to a fourth quarter comeback, so AD should continue to be fed as he seeks the eighth 1,000-yard season of his career (currently at 923 yards). The Titans won’t be an easy matchup next week, though, and Peterson remains a low-floor FLEX that probably needs a score to pay dividends in the fantasy championship.

Josh Doctson | Free Agent WR

Josh Doctson (lower back) is officially active for today’s game.

Doctson popped up on the injury report with lower back spasms on Friday, but he’s ready to go against the Titans. This is a major plus for the Redskins, who are already without Maurice Harris, Vernon Davis, and Jordan Reed, but Doctson is not a highly-recommended fantasy option in championship matchups.

Josh Johnson | Commanders QB

Josh Johnson, Redskins keep playoff hopes alive with 16-13 victory over the Jaguars.

Johnson was 16/25 for 151 yards, one touchdown, and zero interceptions, also adding nine carries for 49 yards. The Redskins were down 13-6 entering the fourth quarter, but Johnson led a ten-play, 68-yard touchdown drive to tie things up, and then another eight-play drive to set up Dustin Hopkins’ game-winning field goal as time expired. Washington is not 7-7 and could potentially sneak into the postseason with wins over Tennessee and Philadelphia over the next two weeks. Johnson will use his legs next Saturday against the Titans, but he won’t be a strong option in two-quarterback leagues.

12/17/18 - 10:57 AM ET

Austin Ekeler | Commanders RB

Austin Ekeler (neck) has been downgraded to out for Week 16.

Ekeler was listed as doubtful yesterday, but the Chargers went ahead and ruled him out before tomorrow night’s game versus the Ravens. Justin Jackson will officially backup Melvin Gordon, and Ekeler remains week-to-week with his neck issue. Hopefully the second-year running back is feeling better soon.

12/21/18 - 02:03 PM ET

Jeff Driskel | Free Agent QB

Jeff Driskel throws one touchdown in Bengals’ Week 15 win.

Driskel was 14/33 for 130 yards, one touchdown, and one interception along with seven carries for 32 yards against the Raiders. The score was to Tyler Boyd on an in-breaking route for seven yards. It wasn’t an amazing game for Driskel, but he probably played better than the numbers indicate; and his team came away with a win, the first of Driskel’s career as a starter. The athletic quarterback isn’t a recommended fantasy option, but he’ll get more valuable playing experience next week against the Browns.

JuJu Smith-Schuster | Chiefs WR

JuJu Smith-Schuster (groin) tweets that he will play tomorrow.

In a tweet that will make his fantasy owners happy, JuJu stated: “A lot on the line this week. The whole season comes down to this. Yes, I’m talking about the fantasy football championship round. Of course I’m playing Sunday!!! Theres no way I can let down the real ones who believed in me by drafting me!! Let’s get it!!” We’ll see if the Steelers have any plans if they don’t feel Smith-Schuster is less than 100%, but expect him to be out there tomorrow against the Saints. Just be sure to check back tomorrow when the actives and inactives are released at around 2:55 PM ET, but you should be able to safely insert the second-year receiver as an excellent fantasy option as usually with titles on the line.

Tyler Boyd | Free Agent WR

Tyler Boyd suffered a “low-grade MCL sprain”, according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.

This is relatively good news, but Boyd’s season may still be over with just two games remaining. He’s on the doubtful side of things for Week 16, but we’ll monitor his status leading up to Sunday’s matchup with the Browns. John Ross would likely become the top receiver for the Bengals if Boyd missed more time.
