McCaffrey caught 14 passes for 102 yards and rushed eight times for 37 yards. The second-year back was a consistent outlet wide receiver underneath and did a great job moving forward for positive yards, but he isn’t getting the workload as a runner that we think he should get, and Cam Newton’s lone interception of the game bounced off C.J. Anderson’s hands with McCaffrey on the bench. Right now, consider Run CMC an elite PPR option but more of a reliable, low-end RB1 in standard leagues.

Odell Beckham Jr. gets held in check by Cowboys.
Dallas did a good job of limiting Beckham throughout the night, but the star receiver was reserved and held his emotions in during the loss, which was a good sign. Beckham was targeted nine times in the game, catching four passes for 51 yards. He has a great matchup next week against the Texans.

Vernon Davis catches one pass in Week 2.
Davis was targeted just one time against the Colts, gaining seven yards on his lone reception. Davis has had just one reception in each of the first two games, so it’s risky to trust him in fantasy lineups. He’s more of a great real-life contributor for the Redskins than a reliable fantasy option as long as Jordan Reed is healthy.

Evan Engram scores in Week 2 loss.
Engram caught all seven of his targets against Dallas, and it was good to see him show reliable hands. Most of his damage came late in the game, including an 18-yard score in which he ran right behind the defense and was wide-open in the end zone. Overall, Engram caught seven passes for 67 yards and a touchdown. He’ll be a TE1 option in Week 3 against the Texans.

Cam Newton, Panthers fall to Falcons in NFC North clash.
Newton was 32/45 for 335 yards, three touchdowns, and one interception, also adding five carries for a team-high 42 yards in the 31-24 loss. Cam was crisp throughout, finding Jarius Wright, Torrey Smith, and D.J. Moore for scores, and his fourth-quarter interception bounced off the hands of C.J. Anderson. The former league MVP will once again be a high-upside QB1 option in Week 3 against the 2-0 Bengals.
9/17/18 - 08:11 AM ET
Jonathan Stewart gets two carries against Dallas.
Stewart gained one yard on his two attempts. He’s just spelling Saquon Barkley at certain points and is not on the fantasy radar.
9/17/18 - 01:57 PM ET
Josh Doctson catches four passes in Week 2.
Doctson gained 37 yards on his four receptions (seven targets) against the Colts. Doctson has just five receptions for 48 yards through two weeks, so he’s best left out of fantasy lineups for now despite his upside.
