Join now >Michael Crabtree scores in team debut for the Ravens.
Crabtree caught the last of Joe Flacco’s three touchdown passes, as he made a nice foot-tapping catch in the back of the end zone on a fade type of pass. Overall, Crabtree had three receptions (six targets) for 38 yards and the score. The Ravens look like they’re going to spread the ball around a bit, but Crabtree is in the FLEX conversation for Thursday night against the Bengals.

JuJu Smith-Schuster leads team in receiving as Steelers tie the Browns, 21-21.
Smith-Schuster caught five passes for 119 yards, with the highlight being a 67-yard catch-and-run that he nearly took for six. Those who were skeptical about JuJu being for real should have their minds changed by now, but we think Pittsburgh should have gotten him more involved late in the game when the offense stalled. With a cupcake matchup against the Chiefs on deck, Smith-Schuster should be a WR1/WR2 option for Week 2.

Nick Boyle catches three passes in Ravens’ win.
Boyle gained 40 yards on his three receptions versus the Bills. It’s difficult to trust any of the Ravens tight ends at the moment, but Boyle is listed as the starter and is probably the one to trust if necessary.

Willie Snead scores in Week 1.
Snead was the third Raven to catch a touchdown from Joe Flacco, making it all three of Baltimore’s new starting receivers with a touchdown on their team debuts. Snead had four receptions for 49 yards and the touchdown in the game. Consider him a low-upside FLEX option for Week 2 against the Bengals.

Ryan Switzer operates as clear No. 1 returner in Steelers debut.
Switzer was acquired in a trade with the Raiders last month, and Pittsburgh clearly has big plans for him with eight combined returns on kicks and punts in Week 1. He also saw some time on offense with an eight-yard rush. Switzer isn’t a fantasy option, but he should make some plays in the return game this year.

John Brown scores in Ravens debut.
Brown caught Joe Flacco’s first touchdown of the season on a quick post rout to the back of the end zone, which Brown was pretty much wide-open on. Overall, Brown had three receptions for 44 receiving yards and one receiving touchdown and also had one carry for -1 rushing yard. Brown and the Ravens face the Bengals this Thursday night.

James Conner dominates on 36 touches in Week 1 tie.
Getting the start with Le’Veon Bell still holding out, Conner rushed 31 times for 135 yards and two scores, also adding five receptions for 57 yards. The second-year back lost a fumble, but weather played a factor, and he established himself as a legitimate RB1 and the clear successor to Bell in 2019. It might not be the case in every game, but Conner was the only running back to record a touch, so expect the understudy to be featured for the foreseeable future. Conner is arguably a top-five play in Week 2 against the Chiefs.
