Join now >Marshawn Lynch goes over 100 yards in Week 17.
Lynch gained 101 rushing yards on 19 carries while adding two receptions for 18 receiving yards against the Chargers. Overall, Lynch’s season, which included a one-game suspension and numerous times of cameras catching him laughing on the sideline with his team down in games, wasn’t what many expected when he returned from a one-year retirement. Lynch carried 207 times for 891 rushing yards and seven rushing touchdowns along with 20 receptions for 151 receiving yards in 15 games. While he might want to play again next season, the Raiders might not want him back. But we’ll see.

David Fales, Dolphins can’t complete comeback attempt in Week 17 loss.
Fales didn’t start, but he replaced Jay Cutler after he threw just two passes against Buffalo so he could get some playing time. The 27-year-old had a chance to tie things up or take the lead in an eventual 22-16 defeat after Miami recovered an onside kick, but an interception ended things. Overall, Fales was 29/42 for 265 yards, one touchdown, and one interception. He also rushed four times for eight yards and a touchdown. He’s unlikely to make 2018 starts.

Back from the dead: Steven Ridley leads backfield in win over the Browns.
Ridley rushed 17 times for 80 yards and a touchdown in his first start of the season. The former Patriot standout had been a free agent for most of the past two seasons, but he was signed following James Conner’s season-ending injury, and he took advantage of a start on Sunday with Le’Veon Bell resting. The 28-year-old finishes the regular season with 26 attempts for 108 yards and a touchdown in two games in black and yellow. He’ll backup Bell in the playoffs.

Devonta Freeman does damage as a receiver in win over the Panthers.
Freeman caught a team-high nine passes for 85 yards and a touchdown in the 22-10 victory, also rushing 11 times for 23 yards. The most important thing is that he didn’t put the ball on the ground, but the fearless back once again showed great quickness in the open field against a tough defense. He finishes the regular season with 196 carries for 865 yards (4.4 yards per carry) and seven touchdowns, also adding a 36/317/1 receiving line. Freeman will undoubtedly be a big part of the game plan on Saturday night against the Rams to kickoff another potential playoff run for Atlanta.

Raiders drop to 6-10 this season with loss to the Chargers.
Derek Carr was 19/28 for 243 yards, one touchdown, and one interception in the loss, and this season clearly didn’t go the way Carr and the Raiders anticipated. Carr threw for 3,496 yards, 22 touchdowns, and 13 interceptions while completing 62.7% of his passes in 15 games (he missed one game with the transverse fracture in his back). Remember, Carr is coming off a broken leg suffered last Christmas Eve, so there’s a chance he still had to get over that a bit and could feel more like himself in 2018. The switch of offensive coordinators clearly did not work out in the first season without Bill Musgrave, but the bottom line is Carr does need to play better than he did this year for the Raiders to get back to where they were in 2016. If the rumors of Jon Gruden returning to the Raiders are true, it’d be excellent news for Carr and his fantasy value, and it’d make him an extremely exciting quarterback for 2018.
12/31/17 - 11:44 PM ET
Charles Sims held to one touch in win over the Saints.
Sims rushed once for six yards. The 27-year-old finishes the season with 21 carries for 95 yards and a 35/249/1 receiving line. A free agent this offseason, Sims is unlikely to turn into a reliable fantasy option in 2018.

Jeff Janis catches one pass in Packers’ loss.
Janis didn’t gain any yards on his lone reception, and he had only two receptions for 12 yards this season. He is a height/weight/speed guy, but Janis doesn’t seem likely to be a big fantasy contributor in 2018 right now.
