The procedure is not expected to impact the offseason for Prescott, and the bigger issue for Dallas will be reshaping the team some this offseason to gear up for what they hope will be a deeper postseason run in 2022. Amari Cooper and his standing at a large cap number—with Michael Gallup and Cedrick Wilson set to hit free agency—is a storyline to watch.

The Panthers extended Ian Thomas.
Thomas, who was set to become a free agent this offseason, is staying with Carolina on a new three-year deal. Thomas had 18 receptions for 188 yards last season, and he’s also a plus as a blocker at the position. Led by Tommy Tremble and Thomas, the Panthers are in a good spot at tight end ahead of free agency and the draft.

Joe Burrow is dealing with a sprained MCL.
Burrow suffered the injury late in Super Bowl LVI and played through it, and he should be fully healthy with some time to rest. The priority for Cincinnati this offseason will be building up the offensive line to match the firepower they have around Burrow at the skill-positions.

D.K. Metcalf recently underwent foot surgery, according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.
It was a procedure to remove a screw from a previous surgery, so it’s a relatively minor issue that shouldn’t impact him for training camp. We had assumed Metcalf was bothered by the foot injury this season as he struggled for a large chunk of the year, but assuming Russell Wilson remains in Seattle, he should be viewed as a clear WR1 option in redraft leagues for 2022.

Odell Beckham Jr. is believed to have suffered a torn ACL, according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.
Beckham and the Rams are apparently waiting for confirmation, but this was the fear when the explosive receiver went down with a non-contact knee injury during last night’s Super Bowl. Beckham, who is set to be a free agent this offseason, has now torn the ACL in the same knee in consecutive seasons. Fortunately for OBJ, he was able to catch a touchdown in the Super Bowl victory and will now have a championship ring. But this is still obviously a tough break, and Odell is now facing another lengthy rehab and recovery process after he undergoes a second major surgery on the knee. Beckham appeared to have found a home in Los Angeles, and we would think he’s likely to return to the Rams at a discount before hoping to come back and play well again whenever he’s back on the field during the 2022 season.

Odell Beckham Jr. (knee) officially ruled out for the remainder of the Super Bowl.
This was the expectation, and Los Angeles will have to find a way to win without one of their top playmakers. OBJ is slated to hit free agency next month.

Odell Beckham Jr. (knee) is questionable to return.
Beckham not being ruled out is potentially a good sign, but it could be gamesmanship more than anything else. There may be another update after halftime.
