Join now >DaeSean Hamilton tore his ACL, according to Taylor Bisciotti.
This is just terrible luck right after it was reported yesterday that Hamilton was going to be on the move to another team via either a trade or waivers, which would have given the fourth-round pick an opportunity to perhaps win a big role in an offense. Instead, the Penn State product is now facing a lengthy rehab and might miss the entire 2021 season. We wish Hamilton luck on his recovery.

The Broncos are waiving DaeSean Hamilton.
The 2018 fourth-round pick was unable to find a large, consistent role in the Broncos offense, but he’s an intriguing potential pickup for another squad looking for receiver help. Hamilton caught 81 passes for 833 yards and five touchdowns in three seasons with Denver.

The Packers are signing Blake Bortles, according to multiple reports.
This is a depth signing for now, but it’s possible Bortles eventually plays a big role in Green Bay if Aaron Rodgers indeed never plays for the team again. As things stand, Bortles has playoff experience and is a solid, low-risk addition no matter what happens with Rodgers.

The Raiders are signing Caleb Scott, according to NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero.
Scott will look to make the team by impressing as a vertical threat this summer, but it might be a tall task with Las Vegas having Henry Ruggs III, John Brown, Bryan Edwards, Hunter Renfrow, Willie Snead, Zay Jones, and others on the roster. The six-foot-two target went undrafted out of Vanderbilt in 2018.

The Jaguars are signing Tim Tebow, according to NFL Network.
Tebow Time is coming to Jacksonville, as the former college football legend will reunite with head coach Urban Meyer and get a shot to make the team as a tight end this summer. The Jags notably have perhaps the most wide-open depth chart in the league at the position, so it wouldn’t be at all surprising if Tebow not only made the team, but also had a substantial role. Many will likely scoff at the signing, but Tebow isn’t someone to bet against, and getting some short-yardage packages would put him squarely on the fantasy radar in 2021.

The Eagles have claimed Kerryon Johnson.
Johnson won’t turn 24 until June and is a very talented player, so he will have a shot to carve out a significant role in Philly’s offense. Especially considering his ability to pass protect and catch the ball, it wouldn’t be at all surprising to see Kerryon become a significant thorn on the side of Miles Sanders’ fantasy outlook—especially with Nick Sirianni likely wanting to rotate runners with Sanders, Johnson, Boston Scott, and rookie Kenneth Gainwell. There might have been better landing spots (potentially Miami), but this news is a boost to Johnson’s redraft and dynasty outlook.

The Jets have released Jaleel Scott.
A former fourth-round pick of the Ravens, Scott has just two career receptions since entering the league in 2018. He will try to get a look with another squad as a big-bodied target on the outside.
