Jordan Reed (hamstring) did not practice today.

This was about as close to a practice the Redskins will have this week on a short week, and Reed wasn’t able to get out there. He’s unlikely to play on Thanksgiving night against the Giants, but we’ll see how he’s listed when the official injury report for the game is released tomorrow.

J.J. Nelson catches one pass against the Texans.

Like teammate John Brown, Nelson didn’t make any big plays down the field against a Texans team that’s struggled against some fast receivers this season. He gained 14 yards on his lone reception, and the matchup gets tougher in Week 12 against the Jaguars.

Tevin Coleman gets 21 touches versus the Seahawks.

With Devonta Freeman (concussion) out, Coleman took over as a workhorse in Atlanta’s backfield in the Monday night victory. Coleman carried 20 times for 43 yards and a touchdown while also adding a 15-yard reception. Seattle did an excellent job of limiting the running game of the Falcons all night, but Coleman still showed his nice vision and had some good runs. The touchdown came by the goal line, and he nearly had another one but his elbow was down while the ball just short of the goal line. There’s a chance Freeman isn’t ready in Week 12 against Tampa Bay, in which case Coleman would be a great RB1 option. Coleman should still be in most lineups even if Freeman is active, though.

Todd Gurley handles all the backfield work in loss to Minnesota.

Gurley rushed 15 times for 37 yards and a touchdown, adding three receptions for 19 yards. No other running back recorded a touch, and that could be the case again in another pivotal NFC matchup next week against the Vikings. Gurley is an elite RB1 for Week 12.

The Broncos plan to start Paxton Lynch in Week 12, according to ESPN’s Dan Graziano.

Graziano reports the announcement is expected to come tomorrow. This isn’t surprising at all, as the Broncos already fired offensive coordinator Mike McCoy yesterday, and at 3-7 their clearly trying to get some type of spark to end their six-game losing streak. Lynch, who appeared in three games last year and played pretty well considering he was a rookie, will now get a chance to runaway with the starting job for the rest of this season and beyond. The 2016 first-rounder has some raw ability and a lot of potential, but he’s not a recommended fantasy pickup in standard-sized leagues.

John Brown gets six targets in Week 11.

Brown’s six targets were second on the team, but he only caught three passes for 18 yards against the Texans. Houston was a great matchup on paper for the speedy receiver, but it obviously did not work out for anyone that inserted him into their fantasy lineup. It’s extremely risky to play Brown against the Jaguars next week.

Matt Ryan tosses two touchdowns as Falcons win in Seattle.

Matty Ice didn’t put up huge numbers tonight, but he still had a very good game where he made plays while avoiding mistakes. Ryan was 19/27 for 195 yards and two touchdowns while adding three carries for 12 yards in the victory. This snaps Ryan’s NFL record 64 consecutive games with at least 200 passing yards, but it was quite the feat for the 2016 league MVP. The first score was on a fade to the end zone to Mohamed Sanu, who mad a great one-handed catch; and the second score was to a wide-open Levine Toilolo in the end zone for 25 yards after a play-action fake. Ryan has yet to hit 20 fantasy points in a game this season, but he’s thrown two touchdowns in four straight games and will be a good option against the Bucs in Week 12.
