Eric Decker | Retired WR

Eric Decker held without a catch in Week 7 win.

Decker committed two drops, both late in the game, but the Titans were able to hold on in overtime to get a 12-9 win. After coming to life in last week’s win over the Colts, Decker had his worst game of the season against Cleveland. He should be better down the stretch, but you can drop him if you need roster space while the Titans are on a bye week.

Leonard Fournette | Free Agent RB

Leonard Fournette (knee) is questionable for Week 7.

The rookie back was cleared to return to last week’s game and is expected to play on Sunday, but he hasn’t practiced all week. Still, the questionable designation is a good sign considering he hasn’t done anything in practice during the week, and he did say he “most definitely” expects to play—but the coaches might ultimately decide if he plays. Luckily, the Jags play in the 1:00 PM ET games, so we’ll know by 11:30 AM ET if he’ll be active or inactive against Indy. Chris Ivory should be rostered as insurance for everyone that has Fournette on their fantasy team.

Aaron Rodgers | Free Agent QB

Aaron Rodgers needs surgery on his broken collarbone.

Packers head coach Mike McCarthy says his quarterback suffered a “significant” injury and they are moving forward with Brett Hundley. Rodgers is in danger of missing the rest of the season, but the Packers are likely hoping he can return in late December or for a potential playoff run. And because he’s an elite athlete, Rodgers should not be counted out for a return quicker than expected. Everyone should hope for Rodgers to be able to get back this season, as it’d be terrible to see a dead cut short—you only get so many of them.

Dak Prescott | Cowboys QB

Dak Prescott, Cowboys put up 40 points in blowout win over the 49ers.

Prescott was 16/25 for 234 yards, three touchdowns, and zero turnovers. He also rushed four times for 26 yards and another touchdown. It shouldn’t come as a big surprise that Dallas rolled San Francisco with a bye week to prepare, but it was undoubtedly a confidence-building performance by the entire team heading into next week’s divisional matchup with Washington. Keep Presott in lineups as a solid QB1.

10/23/17 - 02:27 PM ET

Tanner Gentry | Free Agent WR

Tanner Gentry catches lone target against the Panthers.

The undrafted rookie gained eight yards in the Bears’ win, and his reception happened to be the only catch by a Bears wide receiver in the game, as Chicago had only seven pass attempts in the game. Gentry is more of a dynasty league option for now.

10/23/17 - 12:06 PM ET

Derek Carr | Retired QB

Derek Carr torches Chiefs in Raiders’ wild Thursday night win.

In Carr’s second game while dealing with a transverse fracture, and the Raiders aired it out from the start—mainly to Amari Cooper. Overall, Carr was 29/52 for 417 yards and three touchdowns, along with a 15-yard carry. Carr’s first touchdown was to Cooper on a flea-flicker, and the second was to Cooper on a throw on a crossing route that Cooper took to the house himself for 45 yards. And the third was a game-winner to Michael Crabtree on a mini comeback route in the end zone on the last play of the game, which was set up by a jump ball type of throw to tight end Jared Cook (which was initially ruled a touchdown) and three defensive penalties in a row that kept giving Oakland more chances. Carr has the most fourth-quarter comebacks (12) in the NFL since 2015. It’s good to see this style of offense from the Raiders again, as they are extremely explosive when Carr is chucking it down the field to his playmakers. The Raiders face Buffalo in Week 8.

10/20/17 - 12:26 AM ET

Marcus Mariota | Commanders QB

Less than 100% Marcus Mariota leads the Titans to a win from the pocket in Week 6.

Mariota was dealing with a hamstring injury that forced him to miss Week 5 against the Dolphins, but he gave it a go in the game despite not being able to run full speed (or much at all). Similar to when Aaron Rodgers dealt with a calf injuries, there were questions if he could win from the pocket without using his legs. And like Rodgers, Mariota showed that he can tonight against the Colts. The third-year quarterback was 23/32 for 306 yards, one touchdown, and one interception in the Titans’ victory. He navigated the pocket and delivered strikes to his receivers throughout the night from a traditional drop back, as they couldn’t run any bootlegs or designed runs with Mariota hobbled. The interception came on a great, athletic play by Colts linebacker John Simon, who simply jumped at the line of scrimmage and intercepted the pass for a touchdown. The touchdown for Mariota was a clutch one late in the game where he moved in the pocket before delivering a 53-yard deep ball to rookie Taywan Taylor for a touchdown. The Titans scored 21 points in the fourth quarter with Mariota leading the way. Even if he’s still less than 100%, Mariota will be a QB1 against Cleveland in Week 7.
