Join now >Ty Montgomery (ribs) wants to play on Sunday.
The Packers running back is dealing with broken ribs, but he said “I’m going into this week as if I’m going to play… I’m not willing to risky my overall long-term health, but at the end of the day it’s going to be up to me.” It sounds like it could come down to whether Montgomery feels his ribs can be protected well enough to avoid further serious internal injury. But this could also just be some gamesmanship to not give the Cowboys an idea of his status for the game. He’s probably on the doubtful side of things, but don’t be surprised if Montgomery plays this week.

Rex Burkhead (ribs) was a limited participant in practice today.
A full participation would have been great for his chances to play against the Bucs on Thursday, but he still might be able to play. We’ll see how he’s listed tomorrow.

The Bills signed WR Corey Brown.
Brown was with the team during training camp, but he didn’t make the roster. He has familiarity with head coach Sean McDermott, the team, and the offense, so this was a no-brainer signing with Jordan Matthews (finger) out indefinitely.

Josh Doctson has a shoulder strain.
Doctson might’ve hurt it on his diving catch against the Chiefs in last night’s loss. Hopefully it isn’t too serious and Doctson will be ready to go in Week 6. The Redskins have a bye this week.

Redskins head coach Jay Gruden says Rob Kelley is day-to-day.
Kelley suffered an ankle injury in last night’s game and could not return, but it’s not too serious. Kelley should be ready to go when the Redskins come back after their Week 5 bye.

The Titans are signing QB Brandon Weeden, according to Field Yates.
With Marcus Mariota dealing with a hamstring injury, they are bringing in Weeden as insurance incase Mariota can’t go Sunday. If Mariota is inactive against the Dolphins, Weeden would be active and backup Matt Cassel.

Packers WR Davante Adams could play Sunday.
According to ESPN’s Adams Schefter, “a source” said “I think he goes” this Sunday against the Cowboys. As ugly as the hit Adams took looked, he did not have more than a concussion and was out of the hospital quickly. If he passes concussion protocol, he’d probably be out there versus Dallas. Green Bay plays in a late-afternoon game on Sunday, but we are likely to get more clarity on the situation throughout the week ahead of the weekend. Adams probably would not be limited in any way if he is in the lineup for the Packers.
