Join now >Josh Jacobs (shoulder) will not play in Week 16.
Head coach Jon Gruden alluded to this being the case, and Jacobs will indeed be held out with Oakland now officially eliminated from playoff contention. In the rookie’s place, DeAndre Washington will draw the start and should be a plug-and-play RB2 option after handling 20 touches in extended work two weeks ago. It wouldn’t be surprising to see Jacobs placed on injured reserve in the coming days.

Mohamed Sanu held in check again as Patriots passing attack struggles.
On a team-high eight targets, Sanu caught two passes for 13 scoreless yards, and overall, the New England wide receivers combined for just 37 yards. Protection hasn’t been great for Tom Brady, but his playmakers are simply struggling to create separation, and that includes Sanu, who has been quiet in basically every game other than the loss to Baltimore when he caught ten passes. A matchup next Saturday against the Bills is unlikely to be a cure for the struggles, so Sanu is droppable ahead of the fantasy championship.

Evan Engram will have foot surgery.
Engram says that his foot just didn’t get better, so he’s having surgery to stabilize the foot. This should be a minor procedure, and Engram should get to 100% by the start of training camp at the latest.

James Conner (shoulder) is officially active for Sunday night.
Conner was officially listed as questionable for tonight’s game against the Bills, but he practiced fully all week and was expected to be ready for the Week 15 matchup. Conner might split more work than usual with Benny Snell and Jaylen Samuels, but he’s still in the RB2 mix for the second week of the fantasy playoffs.

Daniel Jones (ankle) was officially a full participant in today’s practice.
Jones is set to return to the lineup after missing the last two games with a high-ankle sprain. This sends Eli Manning back to the bench and likely ends the two-time Super Bowl champions’ Giants career with a home victory, but now Jones will look to get valuable game reps over the final two games of this season ahead of his first full offseason as an NFL quarterback.
12/18/19 - 12:38 PM ET
Dalvin Cook (shoulder) has been ruled out for the rest of today.
It’s obviously not a good sign that Cook has been immediately ruled out for the Vikings, but hopefully the team is just being cautious with their star running back. Before leaving, Cook had nine carries for 27 yards along with three receptions for 16 yards, and this is clearly a big blow to fantasy owners in the playoffs. Cook is currently sitting on the bench, and hopefully he’s OK soon.

The Buccaneers promoted Spencer Schnell to the active roster.
Schnell is taking the roster spot of Mike Evans, who was officially placed on injured reserve with his hamstring injury. The Illinois State product is not a recommended fantasy pickup in standard-sized leagues.
