Join now >The Lions signed Wes Hills to the active roster.
Hills is an undrafted rookie from Slippery Rock, and he’s now getting a shot on the active roster for a Lions team that could give him some work over the final three games of the season. From a fantasy perspective, Hills is just a name to keep in mind in dynasty leagues.

The Panthers are expected to start Will Grier in Week 16.
NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport is reporting this, and while it sounds like speculation based on the obvious given the team did not commit to Kyle Allen starting next week, it seems likely to happen. Grier was selected with a third-round pick in this year’s draft by Carolina, which was one of the most surprising selections of the draft; now, the West Virginia product is set for a bit of an audition for a potential leg-up in the race for the starting quarterback job for the Panthers in 2020. Grier is not a highly recommended immediately pickup in redraft leagues for championship matchups next week.

Jared Cook (concussion) is likely to play on Monday night.
This, according to Saints head coach Sean Payton. Cook has practiced fully and is expected to clear concussion protocol ahead of the Week 15 matchup against the Colts. Just keep in mind you might need to insert someone else from the Monday night game into your lineup if Cook is inactive.

John Brown goes over 1,000 yards on the season in SNF victory.
Coming off back-to-back games with three receptions for 26 yards, Brown re-emerged on Sunday night with seven receptions (on ten targets) for 99 yards in a huge win over the Steelers. The highlight was a 40-yard grab in the second half that Brown also drew pass interference on, and Buffalo’s No. 1 wideout now owns a 71/1,007/5 line with two games to go. Saturday’s matchup against the Patriots won’t be easy, but Brown had 69 yards against them in the previous matchup and has the quickness to give Stephon Gilmore a bit of trouble. Consider him a low-floor FLEX for Week 16.

The Redskins have placed Paul Richardson on injured reserve.
Richardson has been dealing with a hamstring injury, and Washington is now shutting him down for the final three games. In his second year with the Redskins, Richardson finishes with 28 receptions, 245 yards, two touchdowns, and just 8.8 yards per reception. The veteran receiver probably won’t be a recommended late-round flier in drafts over the summer, but we’ll see what happens in training camp.

The Bears placed Ben Braunecker on injured reserve.
Braunecker is being placed on IR to make room for defensive lineman Akiem Hicks to be activated. Braunecker’s season ends with six receptions for 59 yards and a touchdown.

Mike Boone scores twice in relief of Dalvin Cook (shoulder).
Boone rushed 13 times for 56 yards and the two touchdowns—both of which came in the fourth quarter. The shoulder injury is something that has bothered Cook over the past few weeks, and it’s possible being ruled out so quickly on Sunday means the aggravation knocks him out of next week’s clash against the Packers. However, while Boone has certainly flashed, the uncertainty surrounding Cook’s status combined with the potential return of Alexander Mattison (ankle) and a Monday night game could make Boone a wasted waiver claim. Hopefully we get some clarity over the next day or so.
