Week 13 Fantasy Football Rankings

These rankings will be updated throughout the week up until Sunday at 1 PM ET for injuries or other reasons. [Note: our rankings are for standard (non-PPR) leagues, but you can simply move guys up or down based on how many passes they are expected to catch]

Tom Brady’s last three games in Buffalo: 315 yards and four touchdowns (2016), 466 yards and three touchdowns (2015), and 361 yards and four touchdowns (2014)… Russell Wilson should take matters into his own hands at home against the Eagles in a game they need to keep pace with the Rams and wild-card contenders… Cam Newton is coming off his second-worst game of the season, and his worst came in Week 3 against the Saints, but he carries as much upside as anyone, especially with New Orleans’ secondary banged up… Drew Brees should come out firing after what the Jets did to Carolina through the air last week… MVP candidates Carson Wentz and Jared Goff are both solid QB1 options on the road… Philip Rivers should stay hot against the winless Browns… Kirk Cousins is 1-5 against Dallas, but he’s a low-end QB1 option on Sunday despite concerns about his supporting cast… Marcus Mariota has not been good in two career games against Houston, but he is just too good not to break out eventually… Ben Roethlisberger was in the top five for two-straight weeks, but he’s a borderline top-10 option on the road… Matt Ryan gets a difficult draw with Minnesota, but at least it’s at home… Brett Hundley should be confident after nearly knocking off Pittsburgh on SNF, and the Bucs are a great matchup… Case Keenum has completed at least 70% of his passes in each of the past three weeks, and he’s thrown 280+ yards in each of those games… Talk of Alex Smith getting benched is just silly, but he’s not a great fantasy play until his receivers get open, which might not happen… Derek Carr would be higher if not for Michael Crabtree’s suspension and Amari Cooper’s concussion/ankle injuries… Dak Prescott owners are basically hoping for production as a runner at this point.

On the road against the Bengals, it should be a Le’Veon Bell night on Monday for Pittsburgh’s offense… Jordan Howard should get more than seven carries against San Francisco this week… Melvin Gordon has a nice matchup against a Cleveland run defense that’s fallen off since their bye… Christian McCaffrey is averaging 5.6 yards per carry over his past three games, and Carolina could unleash their first-round pick in a huge divisional matchup… Even against a Luke Kuechly-led defense, Mark Ingram and Alvin Kamara are both quality RB1 options… He’s still going to be ranked too low almost everywhere for whatever reason, but Latavius Murray should be an RB1/RB2 every week… Samaje Perine has gone for 100 yards in two-straight games and reaches RB1 territory for the first time; the rookie out of Oklahoma could win a lot of fantasy leagues… Our top play in Week 12 ran for 97 yards and scored twice, and Tevin Coleman will be back in the top five if Devonta Freeman isn’t cleared to face Minnesota… If there’s a player New England’s defense will focus on stopping, it’s LeSean McCoyDion Lewis and Rex Burkhead have taken over the Pats’ backfield and are both quality RB2 options… Kenyan Drake should be featured against Denver, but he’s just a FLEX in a difficult spot… DeMarco Murray has only handled 15+ carries once in 2017… Despite averaging 9.7 yards per carry since joining the eagles, Jay Ajayi is a volatile FLEX in Seattle with just 20 total carries through three games in midnight green; LeGarrette Blount and Corey Clement will both remain involved.

Antonio Brown and Julio Jones showed last week why they are in the league of their own… Keenan Allen has 23 receptions for 331 yards and three touchdowns over the past two weeks… Brandin Cooks is having a career year after averaging 81/1,155.5/8.5 in two healthy seasons with the Saints… No one has held 1,000-yard receiver Adam Thielen to less than five receptions this year…  Devin Funchess has been really, really good since Kelvin Benjamin was traded, and he needs to be in lineups down the stretch… Mike Evans could get doubled like AB was on Sunday night, and so he’s a low-end WR1 in Jameis Winston’s probably return… Demaryius Thomas has been best with Brock Osweiler at quarterback, but Trevor Siemian is an improvement on Paxton Lynch, and Miami’s secondary is a good target… Davante Adams is a high-end WR2 against one of the work cornerback groups in the NFL, and this could be the game Jordy Nelson breaks out with Brett Hundley under center… Doug Baldwin could have another disappointing week against a Philly team that has contained slot receivers… JuJu Smith-Schuster won’t be out there unless he’s 100%, and if he’s 100% he should be in lineups… Robby Anderson is on fire, but he will likely see a lot of Marcus Peters—and if not Darrelle Revis—on Sunday… Tyreek Hill is still unpolished as a wide receiver, so he’s just a volatile WR2… Cooper Kupp should benefit from Patrick Peterson covering Sammy Watkins, but both are low-end WR2/FLEX options… Mohamed Sanu probably won’t throw a touchdown this week, but he’s a solid FLEX with Julio Jones sure to get plenty of attention… Corey Coleman is a better play than Josh Gordon is Gordon’s first game back, as he has more chemistry with DeShone Kizer, but Gordon should be owned in all leagues… No one has been able to get behind Jalen Mills yet, but I would think someone will eventually; it could be Paul Richardson this week… I don’t think many players are doing more with their touches than Nelson AgholorLarry Fitzgerald had just 29 yards against the Rams earlier this year, and Wade Phillips’ defense will probably look to contain him again… DeVante Parker is lower than usual, but he’s worth considering with Aqib Talib suspended… Sterling Shepard has a great matchup if he’s active this week, but I would assume that he’s also at risk of an in-game setback due to his migraines.

2. Travis Kelce (@ NYJ)

25. Austin Traylor (@ MIA)

Still the best in the game, Rob Gronkowski has 11 touchdowns in 11 games against his hometown team, including five games with 100 yards and a score… Travis Kelce and Zach Ertz are neck-and-neck for the number-two spot, but Kelce gets the nod because Seattle should know they need to stop Ertz in the red zone… Hunter Henry could explode if he’s featured against the Browns… Jimmy Graham is basically an automatic touchdown when he’s singled near the goal line… Jared Cook disappointed last week, but he gets a tremendous spot against the Giants on Sunday… Evan Engram might be hitting the “rookie wall,” as he didn’t look good at all on Thanksgiving… Vernon Davis was shockingly held without a reception against New York last week, but he had at least 58 yards in seven-of-eight games before that… It’s fitting that Kyle Rudolph is starting to come alive around the holidays… Greg Olsen is a risky play if he’s active against the Saints… Cameron Brate is back as a top-15 option if Jameis Winston makes his return… Undrafted free agent Ricky Seals-Jones looks like a gem for Arizona.
