Even without Rob Gronkowski (suspension), Tom Brady is the top option for the first week of the fantasy playoffs… Philip Rivers is averaging 343 passing yards over the past three weeks and hasn’t thrown an interception over that span… I’m expecting a shootout between Matt Ryan and Drew Brees on Thursday Night Football… Jared Goff is a top-five option over the final four weeks of the season, including this Sunday against the Eagles… Carson Wentz is a solid QB1, but Wade Phillips might have a good game plan for the playmaking quarterback… For all the unwarranted criticism of Alex Smith, he’s on pace for 4,319 yards, 31 touchdowns, and five interceptions… Despite facing the Vikings, Cam Newton is difficult to bench because of his upside as a runner; the same goes for Russell Wilson against Jacksonville… Ben Roethlisberger stays on the QB1 map because he faces the Ravens at Heinz Field, and top cornerback Jimmy Smith tore his Achilles last week for Baltimore… Matthew Stafford has an injured throwing hand and ankle, but he’s still worth a look in a really good matchup… Dak Prescott threw for just 102 yards in last week’s win, and he’s yet to have a big game against the Giants… Brett Hundley has some upside against Cleveland as he looks to keep the Packers in the playoff race.

With no rushing touchdowns since October, Le’Veon Bell will find the end zone sooner rather than later, and he could be in for a monster fantasy playoffs… Melvin Gordon should have a big day after watching what Washington allowed the Cowboys’ offensive line to do in Week 13… Alvin Kamara and Mark Ingram are both high-end plays on Thursday night… Devonta Freeman immediately led the backfield in his return, so he should be a solid RB1 for the fantasy playoffs with Tevin Coleman settling back as a high-upside RB2… There’s no chance I would bench Jordan Howard despite two-straight sub-par performances… Rex Burkhead is a low-end RB1 with Gronk not playing on Monday night… Christian McCaffrey needs to be more involved for the Panthers to upset Minnesota… Kenyan Drake is averaging 5.36 yards per carry since the trade deadline, and he should be an RB2 down the stretch… Leonard Fournette doesn’t care about your fantasy team, and he’s a volatile RB2 against Seattle… Latavius Murray gets a downgrade against the Panthers, but it’s tough to bench a guy that’s averaging 17 carries for 80 yards and a touchdown over the past four games… Jay Ajayi is a hopeful RB2 after leading the backfield in Week 13, as he’s the team’s most talented runner, and the Eagles need to avoid another loss out west… I have a hard time trusting either DeMarco Murray or Derrick Henry as anything more than FLEX options… If Joe Mixon gets cleared for Sunday, he might not have a workhorse role after Giovani Bernard impressed against Pittsburgh… Peyton Barber followed up a two-touchdown performance with the first 100-yard game of his career, but the situation becomes murky if Doug Martin is active… The Lions backfield is also up in the air after Tion Green impressed in his first NFL action, but Ameer Abdullah should still be the top play if he’s back… I wouldn’t bet on C.J. Anderson with the fantasy playoffs on the line.

Antonio Brown at less than 100% is still pretty good… Julio Jones should be fed targets on a short week in a huge NFC South matchup… Keenan Allen is as hot as anyone over the past three weeks, and the Redskins fell apart defensively in Week 13… I expect a huge bounce back from Brandin Cooks, as there’s no one that can cover him on the Dolphins… Oakland will have a hard time keeping Tyreek Hill contained… Sammy Watkins has four touchdowns over the past five games and is a WR1/WR2 for the fantasy playoffs… It feels like Josh Gordon will have a 200-yard game at some point down the stretch, and it could be against Green Bay… Amari Cooper probably won’t do what he did earlier this year against Kansas City, but he’s a quality WR2 if he plays… Mike Evans is on pace for less than 1,000 receiving yards and hasn’t scored since Week 6; Darius Slay is a difficult matchup… Robby Anderson didn’t score last week, but he caught eight passes for 107 yards in the win… Demaryius Thomas is just a low-end WR2/FLEX option on one of the worst offenses in the NFL… Nelson Agholor could have had a 200-yard, three-touchdown performance against Seattle if Carson Wentz didn’t badly miss him twice… Let’s not get too excited about Dez Bryant after one game, but he’s a good FLEX option with Janoris Jenkins on IR… Doug Baldwin is a risky option against Jacksonville’s elite secondary… Martavis Byrant is a high-upside FLEX option with JuJu Smith-Schuster suspended… Marquise Goodwin is averaging 82 yards per game over the past four weeks, and he has at least 68 yards in each game over that span… Devin Funchess gets a big downgrade against Xavier Rhodes… T.Y. Hilton should stay on the bench if Tre’Davious White (concussion) can play, as the rookie just limited Brandin Cooks 17 yards in Week 13… Danny Amendola should have FLEX value in PPR leagues with Gronk suspended… Mike Wallace has looked good recently, and he went for 6/55/1 in the first meeting with his former team this year.

Travis Kelce is the top option for the first week of the fantasy playoffs against Oakland’s soft pass defense… Jimmy Graham should be more of a factor outside of the red zone against the Jags, and he’s as good a bet as anyone to find the end zone… Hunter Henry is a top-three option as a consistent part of the offense over the past two weeks… Zach Ertz needs to pass the concussion protocol, but if he plays, the Rams will probably have a good game plan for Carson Wentz’s favorite target… Kyle Rudolph has three touchdowns over the past two games, and Case Keenum is getting more comfortable with him in recent weeks… The Giants have somewhat shockingly held tight ends out of the end zone since Week 10, but they are still a good matchup for Jason Witten… Cameron Brate just needed Jameis Winston to return to be back on the TE1 map… If he’s active, Greg Olsen should be a significant part of the offense in a huge game… Dwayne Allen is worth considering as a streamer against Miami, but he had zero receptions when Gronk missed a game earlier this year, so there’s definite risk… Ricky Seals-Jones has been a nice target over the middle for Blaine Gabbert… David Njoku had things open up for him with Josh Gordon back, but we’ll see if that continues, especially since Corey Coleman has held without a catch in Week 13.
