Wolf Sports 2024 fantasy football season projections are now live for Fantasy Consigliere members. Over 250 players have projections, and—while they will be tweaked throughout the summer based on news and developments—the final projections will mostly remain as they are now.
Among the highlights are Christian McCaffrey easily pacing the running backs and CeeDee Lamb coming in as the clear WR1. A few more takeaways following the projections:
- The projections for our definite (as of now) top-eight running backs—with seven arguably all having a case for the RB2 behind McCaffrey—settled nicely into a similar tier. However, Jaguars running back Travis Etienne Jr. is also in that mix based on his projected season fantasy point total.
- The past couple of seasons, we recommended getting an elite quarterback in drafts when possible (i.e., as an ideal mid-to-late Round 2 pick in most re-draft leagues), and it worked extraordinarily well for most. This year, it might again be good to have a difference-making option at the position, but quarterback also looks deeper with more exciting options behind the top-tier guys than in the past few seasons.
- There are plenty of appealing receiver options in the top 40 or 50 of the position.
- Many offenses could be set to spread the ball around this year, both via RBBCs (e.g., Cowboys, Titans) and with deep receiving rooms (e.g., Bears, Packers, Jaguars). So, hitting on offense-carriers and players with consistent roles will be critical as ever.
