On August 1, our fantasy football draft guide will be released both as a physical book (available on Amazon) and as a free PDF to Fantasy Consigliere members. The final preview ahead of release day—following up quarterback, running back, and wide receiver—is for tight end.
8. Isaiah Likely, BAL
2024 statistics: 42 REC, 477 YDS, 6 TD
2025 projections: 59 REC, 695 YDS, 8 TD
Comments can often go under the radar in the spring, but John Harbaugh saying “I want to see him be an All-Pro” when talking about Likely could be one of the most telling quotes of the offseason. Based on how last year started, it appeared Likely might have been headed for a leap into superstardom with a 9/111/1 line in the memorable loss to open the season against the Chiefs, but he was limited to just one game with more than five targets the rest of the way—so Baltimore sounds set to make sure he’s a central piece for the entire season. If the 60% of the snaps played last year climbs into the 80% range with increased targets, Likely will be a much more stable option in fantasy lineups, and he’s already proven he can find the end zone with 11 touchdowns on 72 receptions over the past two seasons. The Ravens being able to spread the ball around and/or play through Derrick Henry will still lead to quieter days for Likely as he shares time with Mark Andrews, but the 25-year-old sure sounds primed to be a breakout option for a high-powered Baltimore offense in 2025.
