Join now >Gabriel Davis has been activated from the reserve/COVID-19 list.
Along with teammate Cole Beasley, Davis benefits from the NFL and NFLPA cutting down the isolation period from ten days to five days. Davis can rejoin the Bills for the week of practice starting today and can play in Week 17.
The Bills activated Cole Beasley from the reserve/COVID-19 list.
Beasley, who has been a vocal critic of vaccine mandates, benefits from the NFL and NFLPA’s updated COVID protocols. The veteran receiver is back for the Bills after missing last week’s win over the Patriots.
Carson Wentz has a chance to play in Week 17.
The NFL and NFLPA came to a new agreement on the isolation period for players, following the CDC’s updated guidance put out yesterday—instead of ten days, the period is now five days. This includes unvaccinated players like Wentz, who will look to get cleared ahead of Sunday’s matchup against the Raiders.
The Eagles signed Kerryon Johnson to the practice squad.
With Miles Sanders (hand) missing time, Johnson returns to Philadelphia after spending time with them earlier this season. The former second-round pick is someone to keep an eye on in deeper leagues, particularly running behind the Eagles’ strong offensive line.
Marcedes Lewis has been placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list.
Green Bay just faced a Cleveland team that was hit hard by COVID issues, so hopefully this doesn’t turn into something bigger for the Packers (though changing of protocols have been discussed). Josiah Deguara will handle most of the snaps at tight end this week if Lewis doesn’t get cleared by Sunday.
