Week 10 Fantasy Football Awards 2023

Team of the Week

QB: Dak Prescott, DAL

The passing attack for Dallas has been locked in recently, and yesterday was a blowup performance for Prescott with 404 passing yards, four passing touchdowns, one interception, and a rushing score in a 49-17 victory over the Giants. In addition to the success through the air, Dak doing more as a runner in recent weeks has been a definite boost for fantasy owners.

RB: Jahmyr Gibbs, DET

Any concerns about Gibbs losing his weekly start-ability with David Montgomery returning in Week 10 should have been erased, as Detroit’s explosive rookie turned 17 touches into 112 yards and two touchdowns—both of which came at the goal line. Gibbs has now gone for fantasy-point totals of 23.1, 27.4, and 24.7 over the past three games.

RB: Brian Robinson Jr., WAS

Robinson was limited to eight carries for 38 yards against Seattle, but he was finally involved more in the passing game by catching all six of his targets for 119 yards and a score. While we will ideally see more balance in future weeks, Robinson can keep it going next week against a falling-apart Giants squad.

WR: Keenan Allen, LAC

Allen has been extremely steady this season, and yesterday was a return to the high ceiling we saw early in the year with 11 receptions for 175 yards and two touchdowns in a shootout loss to the Lions. As the focus of Kellen Moore’s offense, Allen now has two games with 35.0+ fantasy points this season.

WR: CeeDee Lamb, DAL

Lamb has been scorching hot with the Cowboys taking off in recent weeks, and New York simply couldn’t cover him on Sunday with 11 receptions for 151 yards and a touchdown—plus a 14-yard rushing score. In three games since the bye, Lamb has gone for lines of 12/158/2, 11/191, and 11/151/1.

TE: T.J. Hockenson, MIN

Entering a somewhat difficult matchup versus New Orleans didn’t matter for Hockenson this week, as he caught 11 passes for 134 yards and a touchdown—with almost all the damage coming in the first half. The performance came at less than 100%, but Hockenson should be feeling good about a matchup against the Broncos next Sunday night.

FLEX: Brandin Cooks, DAL

A week after talk about Cooks not being involved enough for Dallas, the veteran speedster went off with nine receptions for 173 yards and a touchdown on his way to 27.8 fantasy points. It was the first game with more than 50 receiving yards as a Cowboy, but Cooks has now scored in three of the past four games.

D/ST: 49ers

Jacksonville wasn’t considered an easy matchup for the Niners coming out of the bye, but they completely dominated in all phases—including a boosted defensive front creating consistent pressure. Overall, San Francisco totaled five sacks and four takeaways while limiting Trevor Lawrence and the offense to 221 total yards and three points.

K: Jason Myers, SEA

Struggles for Seattle finishing drives allowed Myers to have a monster fantasy day—converting all five of his field goals (including the game-winner) for 21.0 fantasy points. On the season, Myers now has two games with 18.0+ fantasy points and single-digit fantasy points in all other outings.

Surprise of the Week: Devin Singletary, HOU

Dameon Pierce (ankle) being out again allowed Singletary to lead the backfield against Cincinnati, and he was fed 31 touches for 161 yards and a touchdown in the down-to-the-wire victory. Based on how good he looked, we could see Singletary—after a career performance—lead the backfield even when Pierce is healthy.

Disappointment of the Week: Derrick Henry

Jahan Dotson is another option with zero receptions and limited involvement against the Seahawks, but Henry was given just 11 carries (for 24 yards) on a day where Tennessee struggled offensively, and they should have leaned on the monster runner more with Tampa Bay failing to pull away. At 3-6, the Titans need to feed Henry in winnable games if they want to avoid a lost season.

Rookie of the Week: Bijan Robinson

C.J. Stroud (19.04 fantasy points) could have been chosen here again, but Robinson (17.1) was finally featured with 23 touches for 106 yards and a score. Despite all the frustration about his role, Robinson is the overall RB9 on the season, and we’ll see if Atlanta fully unleashes him following a Week 11 bye.

Week 10 MVP: Dak Prescott

Outside of a bad interception, Prescott was almost flawless in the win over New York, and he didn’t even need to hit the field in the fourth quarter to lead the week in scoring (pending the MNF results). Since the bye week, Dak has gone for fantasy-point totals of 28.06, 28.36, and 37.86—and he’ll now take on the 1-8 Panthers.
