Bo Nix threw for 381 yards and six touchdowns in Oregon’s blowout win over Arizona State… in the first half! (He threw for 404 yards in the game.) The veteran quarterback is dealing at a rare level and is finally getting recognition as the clear Heisman favorite with a couple of weeks to go.

Penix gets two more opportunities to make a statement for the Heisman, playing the Apple Cup this Saturday before the Pac-12 title game.

Jayden Daniels racked up over 500 total yards and eight touchdowns (six passing, two rushing) as LSU coasted to victory over Georgia State. He’ll conclude his regular season this week against Texas A&M and has a realistic shot to slide into the top spot if Nix and/or Penix slip up in a big way over the next two games.

Much running wasn’t needed this week in a 66-10 victory versus Chattanooga, but Jalen Milroe had a quick and efficient afternoon as a passer, going 13/16 for 197 yards and three touchdowns. Milroe is up to 31 total touchdowns this year, and he still has the Iron Bowl and SEC Championship Game to go.
