Strengths

Monstrous size. Extremely powerful. Overall frame is in shape. Smooth and very athletic for his size. Tremendous length. Human wall in pass protection. Size makes it very difficult for rushers to get around him. Good overall awareness. Quality technique in pass sets. Strong hands. Simply tosses/pushes guys around in the running game. Uses size and length to control defenders. Easily wipes defenders out on the edge to clear a running lane. Moves well to reach linebackers. Bulldozer when he gets his hands on a defender at the second level. Too big for smaller players to get past. Tries to bury defenders when he can. Has the skillset to play either tackle spot.

Weaknesses

Slow to react against inside moves. Wins with size/length rather than natural mirror skills in pass protection. More of a pusher than engager/driver. A little stiff out of his stance. Being top heavy can lead to issues when his strikes are inaccurate. Average acceleration. Backside cut blocks are often ineffective.

Conclusion

Overall, Becton is a monstrous offensive tackle with plus athleticism for his size, and he should step right in as a capable pass protector because of his rare physical gifts. If Becton can become more consistently dominant under the guidance of an NFL coaching staff, he has a good chance of living up to the hype.
