Strengths

Prototypical size/length. Great awareness and intelligence. Plays with physicality. Plus power and acceleration. Will bulldoze defenders with a head of steam. Very strong hands. Able to take guys out with glancing blows. Gets engaged and drives off the ball in the running game. Knows how to turn defenders to create a running lane. Makes solid contact on the second level. Good mirror skills in pass protection. Above average mobility. Can get out space and lead the way on screen passes. Competes through the whistle. Has three years of starting experience at left tackle in a creative offensive system. Played the right side for unbalanced formations. Up for the challenge against top competition.

Weaknesses

Can lose balance causing his head to go down after the defender disengages. Looks a little stiff as a puller. Needs to slide better against speed rushers at times. Good overall technique but could be more consistent.

Conclusion

Overall, Wanogho is a prototype left tackle that plays with physicality in the running game and has shown good natural ability in pass protection. Others in the class are getting most of the buzz, but it might be a mistake to overlook Wanogho as a potential long-term starter on the blindside.
