Strengths

Great natural athleticism and smoothness. Solid overall size with good length. Above average speed. Very confident in press man coverage. Excellent mirror-and-match skills. Great feet. Rarely out of position to make a play on the ball or tackle. Good hips to open and run. Tracks the ball very well in the air and mostly gets his head around to locate it. Quality play strength. Tremendous instincts for a player with limited experience. Tough and reliable tackler. Unafraid to chop down bigger guys in the open field. Quick to come up and play the run. Experience at both outside cornerback spots and in the slot. Has been used to cover tight ends. Former wide receiver. Provides value as a returner. Parents were both Olympic track stars.

Weaknesses

Sometimes will be flat footed around the line of scrimmage and allow the receiver to get a step. Can get handsy when the ball is in the air or when he feels out of position. Limited ball production for a former receiver.

Conclusion

Overall, Igbinoghene is an ascending cornerback that has the natural skillset/instincts for the position despite playing it for just two years, and he should only improve with more experience. Teams that play a lot of man coverage should look to Igbinoghene as an option on Day 2.
