Strengths
Prototype overall size with elite length. Smooth overall player. Very good awareness and instincts. Plus play strength and natural balance. Great bend around the corner. Good change-of-direction skills. Has a quick side step to get inside. Active hands with decent pop. Possesses a quality spin move. Quick reaction time. Gets good jumps at the snap. Excellent pursuit and motor. Does a nice job taking on double teams. Goes for the strip when he can. Will get up to deflect passes at the line of scrimmage. Has basically equal experience rushing from either side of the formation. Can fall back in coverage when needed.
Weaknesses
Doesn’t possess great athleticism or explosiveness. Chase down speed is lacking. More crafty than twitchy. Has good play recognition against the run but didn’t seem to make enough plays for himself. Lack of juice might limit his ceiling.

Derek Barnett
Conclusion
Overall, Greenard is a natural pass rusher that created consistent pressure in college, and he should have a high floor at the next level based on his football intelligence. The strength in the first two rounds of the draft makes Greenard more of a third-round target for me.
Feels like a Jets pick.
He’s not Polite.
Barnett sounds like a nice comparison.
Greenard should be a starter.
Good job.
