Strengths

Remarkable size and length. Prototypical frame with lean strength. Very strong hands to remain engaged through the play. Plays with tremendous balance and movement skills for his size. Light feet. Keeps a solid base both as a run blocker and in pass prospection. Great overall awareness. Eyes scan the field in pass protection. Very good overall technique as a pass blocker. Combination of length and footwork makes it tough for speed rushers to get by. Has the strength to anchor versus power. Easily turns defenders to open holes in the running game. Length helps him to quickly reach the second level. Effective as a puller or leading the way in space. Finishes blocks. Plus initial quickness at the snap. Relatively inexperienced and still improving. Has starting experience at both tackle spots. High character and puts in extra work.

Weaknesses

Overall power can be improved for his size/skills. Length hides it but feet can be a little slow against inside moves. Will sometimes lunge forward and miss.

Conclusion

Overall, Peart is a very promising tackle prospect with elite size/length and plenty of upside both in the running game and in pass protection. I think he will be a longtime starter at either tackle spot and should be a great value early on Day 2 for teams that miss out on the “top” players at the position.
