Strengths
Tremendous length and prototype overall size. Tough and intelligent. Great awareness in coverage. Very fluid movement skills. Quick to flip his hips and run. Plus speed and acceleration. Comfortable in the back pedal. Natural ability to mirror in man coverage. Fit in a variety of coverage schemes. Smart in zone coverage. Strong in press coverage. Excellent instincts. Sees things and reacts. Outstanding ability to play the ball in coverage. Aggressive at the catch point without committing a penalty. Gets his head around on downfield passes. Phenomenal ball skills. Top tackler at cornerback. Extremely quick reaction time. Very willing to be physical against the run. Will take on blockers and go into traffic. Exceptional pursuit for a cornerback. Good timing as a blitzer. Rarely thrown at versus Notre Dame in 2018 (Chase Claypool and Miles Boykin). Mostly left cornerback but has played both sides. Dropped into slot midgame versus USC in 2019 and succeeded in slowing down Amon-Ra St. Brown. High character and well coached.
Weaknesses
Could show a bit more discipline in coverage. Tries to anticipate and it can lead to him getting beat on double moves (Gabriel Davis in 2019). On his heels too much. Could clean up technique to avoid allowing separation on routes working back to the quarterback. Will grab at times.

Conclusion
Overall, Adebo is a playmaking cornerback with high-end intelligence, length, and movement skills for the position. Especially considering his scheme versatility and effectiveness as a tackler, Adebo should be in play as a possible Day 1 selection for NFL teams.
Sounds like he’s one of your top CBs.
Good reports it helps me learn for defensive players I don’t know
