Strengths
Prototype size/frame for an athletic tackle. Remarkably smooth. Ideal play demeanor and looks to maul. Gets engaged and drives defenders back. Hands are active and well-positioned. Good ability to square guys up and stays square. Turns and seals to create a running lane. Great acceleration and overall mobility. Excellent field vision. Very accurate on move blocks and working to the second level. Effective moving from block to block. Impressive speed to lead the way in space. Strong “throw” strike move to wipe defenders out by using their momentum against them. Quick first step on down blocks. Light feet in general. Quick in pass sets. Poised with a square base as a pass blocker. Strong anchoring versus power. Very aware in pass protection. Hustles around to hit people. Three-year starter at left tackle. Practiced some at guard for the Senior Bowl.
Weaknesses
Often opens up rather than mirroring versus speed rushes. Can get too upright on contact at times. Ends up on the ground too much. Strength could be a question in Year 1 versus NFL defenders. Mostly untested versus top competition in game action.

Conclusion
Overall, Radunz is an athletic offensive tackle that would best fit in a zone-running scheme, and there is reason to believe he should improve as a pass blocker based on his skillset. Even in a strong tackle class, Radunz projects to draw strong consideration early on Day 2.
