Strengths

Absolutely massive offensive tackle. Top-tier length to pair with towering height. Hands are huge and extremely powerful. Great raw strength with plenty of untapped potential. Usually stays engaged and will drive after locking on. Keeps a balanced base and moves his feet when engaged. Very effective on combination blocks. Will absorb defenders on the second level. Pure size can make him a wall in pass protection with improvement. Good ability to recognize and pick up blitzes from the edge. Pass protection clearly improved as the year progressed. Played faster and looked more comfortable in general as the year progressed. Natural athleticism shown on fullback dive touchdown in final game and wildcat touchdown pass in spring game.

Weaknesses

Feet are sluggish overall. Wish he was more overpowering considering size. Needs to be more efficient latching on. Can be more precise hitting his targets. Would like to see more awareness/creativity to make a block. Trouble sticking with quickness. Struggles to stick with wider rushes.

Conclusion

Overall, Faalele is a monster offensive tackle that should only continue to improve based on the strides made from the 2021 opener to his final game. His unteachable attributes should make him a target early on Day 2 for teams that need a right tackle.
