Strengths
Good overall size with plus length. Very aggressive player. Great movement skills. Possesses fluidity in his hips and feet. Active hands with power to push/throw defenders. Targets under the pads of defensive linemen and locks out. Able to turn defensive linemen at the point of attack. Excellent as a puller with tremendous acceleration to get ahead from center position. Connects on movement blocks with force and accuracy. Great ability to stay engaged and drive. Extremely accurate hitting targets in the open field. Not someone to be in front of when he has a head of steam. Once held a block 40+ yards downfield. Exceptional transition quickness to the second level. Has stopping power on the initial pop versus downhill defenders. Routinely wipes out defenders on the edge. Balanced in pass protection and keeps hands in ideal position. Very smooth on pass sets and can comfortably reach/take perimeter rushes. Great hustle and top speed (touchdown-saving tackle versus Michigan State in 2021).
Weaknesses
Will overset and miss a block both as a run blocker and pass protector. Has some issues with balance and ends up on the ground too much. Reaction time is sometimes a tick slow. Can be a little too focused on completely wiping out a defender after the job is done rather than helping elsewhere. Needs to avoid toeing over the aggression line with personal fouls.

Conclusion
Overall, Jurgens is a very athletic center with tremendous movement skills and impressive power for his size. He should draw second-round consideration based on the skillset and mindset at the pivot.
