Strengths
Very long and rangy frame. Impressive body fluidity for his size. Aggressive hitter that will lay the boom on opponents. Great play recognition and vision to keep track of the ball. Effective coming up to tackle as a middle safety. Exceptional run fits. Excellent pursuit. Good ability to attack off the edge when creeping close to the line of scrimmage. Plus burst through gaps as a run blitzer. Versatile with snaps from dime linebacker to single-high safety. Above-average top speed. Good instincts to read the quarterback as a deep safety. Great in robber coverage. Can match tight ends in man coverage out of the slot. Has the size and athleticism to cause problems down the seam. Stifled James Cook on a downfield route (Georgia 2021). Good hands and return ability. Made impact plays in big games. Experience on special teams. Declined to opt out of final bowl game.
Weaknesses
Lack of reactionary quickness leads to some missed tackles. Can get too high as a tackler in space. Needs to wrap more consistently. Should have more strength as a tackler for his size. Average change-of-direction skills. Would like to see improved discipline in zone coverage to avoid busts. Needs to be wary of taunting penalties (has done a throat slash celebration and stood over an opponent).

Conclusion
Overall, Monday is a hard-hitting defender with the versatility to be used as either a free or strong safety depending on the defensive scheme. He can do more in coverage versus bigger tight ends and is worth selecting as early as the third round.
