Strengths

Solid overall build with quality length. Very intelligent and aware. Ideal toughness. Movements are efficient. Great impact as a run blocker. Able to recalibrate his balance if opponents get an early push. Hands are very strong and accurate to stay attached. Uses a subtle pulldown or pushdown move to defeat opponents that get too forward-leaning. Will connect and then use power to get opponents on the ground. Works to drive defenders off the spot. Fluid hips. Able to turn opponents on the second level. Very good functional athleticism and movement ability. Mobile and smooth to hit targets on outside pulls. Excellent technique as a pass protector. Impressive stopping power in pass protection. Keeps a strong base. Moves his feet to stick with opponents. Very quick reaction time in pass protection. Showed extremely well in a few plays matched up against standout Iowa defensive lineman Lukas Van Ness and linebacker Jack Campbell (2022).

Weaknesses

Lacks reactionary quickness versus moving targets and shifter opponents. Could have problems with initial slanting quickness. Can be delayed picking up stunts and delayed rushers. Pushed back a couple of times in the second half versus Ohio State (2022).

Conclusion

Overall, Oluwatimi is an intelligent and technically sound center that maximizes his skillset as the anchor of an offensive line. He is one of a few options at the position that should draw Day 2 consideration.
