Strengths
Great size and looks bigger than listed measurements. Exceptional speed and athleticism. Terrific burst/acceleration. Strong with a prototype profile for press coverage. Jams are extremely strong and disruptive. Can be suffocating and control opponents early in routes. Stays on the hip of receivers on underneath routes in man coverage. Excellent ability to deflect passes at the catch point. Impressive feet and quickness. Fluid turning his hips in vertical transitions in zone coverage. Good ball skills. Wrap-up tackler on the boundary with tremendous technique. Sticks his nose in to play the run. Aggressive taking on blocks by wide receivers. Won’t shy away from getting a hit in along the sideline with an opponent looking to go out of bounds. Played both left and right cornerback. Saw some snaps in the slot. Has experience as a punt returner.
Weaknesses
Can get caught with his eyes in the backfield and allow opponents past him in zone coverage. Beat vertically and allows a step deep too often in general. Quality smoothness opening out of the press but will lose a step. Sometimes caught flat-footed in coverage. Tackling can be more controlled to avoid missing quicker players.

Conclusion
Overall, Stevenson is a talented press cornerback that is at his best when using physicality early in coverage. Some of the inconsistency needs to be cleaned up, but teams should be drawn to the tackling ability in addition to the cover talent.
