Strengths

Phenomenal length. Large overall frame. Exceptional strength. Excellent reaction time as a pass rusher. Fast for his size. Speed rush can be disruptive with a good start. Shows an impressive inside power rush. Tremendous closing burst. Knows how to get his hands up to disrupt passing lanes. Very effective swatting passes down. Pressure has created multiple interceptions. Attacks the ball as a finisher. Four forced fumbles on just 11.0 career sacks. Has seen some snaps rushing from the interior. Great range as a tackler. Good effort to the ball in pursuit. Has quickness shedding blockers. Strong holding up versus pulls and cross-formation blocks. Shows an ability to set the edge. Muscles tight ends off him. Able to get low to create leverage in short-yardage situations. Has played on both sides of the formation with one or two hands in the dirt. Experience covering running backs in the flat.

Weaknesses

Movements are a bit rigid. Limited change-of-direction ability. Struggles to flatten to the quarterback. Aggression as a rusher comes in flashes. Play recognition is just OK. Can be high as a tackler and would add more strength by improving technique. Too easily wiped out when slanting inside versus the run. Inconsistent efficiency and ability to disengage.

Conclusion

Overall, Harrison is a very long edge defender that can unlock increased upside by consistently playing faster at the next level. He should primarily be targeted as a 4-3 defensive end that should come off the board in the middle of Day 2.
