Strengths
Big-bodied target with outstanding strength. Extremely smooth. Tremendous build-up speed. Excellent acceleration for his size. Great ball skills with the ability to make highlight catches. Comes down with full-extension grabs. Very comfortable going down or sliding for low passes. Securely brings in body catches. Has flashed impressive above-the-rim ability. Able to win vertically on inside releases. Knows how to get on top of cornerbacks. Varies speeds early in routes to keep defenders guessing. Used to run clearout routes on the outside. Tough and reliable making catches through traffic. Shows no fear with defenders around. Route breaks are smooth/clean. Slant routes are very crisp. Smooth breaking off vertical routes to sit down. Very quick to throttle down on hitches. Gets a step on deep crossing routes. Good timing to find open space on downfield route combinations. Plenty of experience both on the outside and from various alignments inside. Used on quick screens and designed throws in the flat. Physical as a runner. Has shake to make defenders miss. Saw some snaps in the backfield. Excellent overall blocker that will do dirty work inside. Still gives all-around effort when the ball isn’t coming his way.
Weaknesses
Full-time starter but often an afterthought for extended stretches (played in a great wide receiver room). Had some drops on imprecise passes. Wasn’t challenged by a ton of man coverage. Could be a little quicker getting in front of defenders to cut them off when blocking from close alignments.

Conclusion
Overall, Mingo is a big and smooth wide receiver with a well-rounded game to win downfield, over the middle, and underneath. He wasn’t usually a featured player at Ole Miss, but Mingo has big-time upside at the next level.
