Strengths
Twitchy motor. Movements are light and athletic. Elite first-step quickness. Has a strong lower half. Tremendous speed rush. Exceptional ability to turn the corner. Effective swipe-and-swim move. Uses hands to push down the reach of offensive tackles. Excellent shoulder dip. Will attack inside when offensive tackles overset. Pushes the speed rush before making inside move. Has shown impressive strength on the power rush. Will get two hands accurately on the opponent’s chest. Strong hands. Wraps up on quarterback takedowns. Chops at the ball for strip sacks. Great pursuit and hustle. Terrific feel for quarterback rollouts and will track them. Tremendous overall instincts and play recognition. Quick darting inside to play the run. Uses quick feet to slip blocks. Gets in the backfield in a flash and is aggressive attacking the ball-carrier. Physical for his size. Uses hands to extend when setting the edge. Aggressive holding ground and shedding versus tight ends. Shows athleticism on short zone drops. Experience on both sides of the formation. Played in a two-point stance and with his hand in the dirt. Has run looping stunts lined up inside.
Weaknesses
Slightly undersized build in general. Would like to see more of a polished plan as a pass rusher. Technique needs to be improved when crashing down versus the run. Will turn his back rather than staying square. Could lower the target area as a tackler. Has lost his footing at the snap a few times. Struggled to generate pressure versus top offensive line for Ohio State (2022/2023).

Conclusion
Overall, Robinson is a twitchy and athletic edge defender with a great speed rush and room to grow as a pass rusher. The instincts, natural strength, and willingness to play the run are all encouraging, and his best fit will likely be as a 3-4 outside linebacker.
