Strengths

Five-position versatility. Long-time starter at left tackle with starts made at center. Solid build with impressive core strength. Very balanced and fundamental. Everything is very smooth. Quick off the ball and good general quickness. Great footwork. Pristine technique and hand usage. Naturally seems to attach to opponents. Rare understanding of leverage and positioning. Has an understated aggression about him. Excellent drive strength at the point of attack. Tremendous latch-on strength. Routinely moves opponents several yards. Fantastic on down blocks. Able to rebalance if opponents gain leverage. Smooth turning hips to create a rushing lane. Generates drive to the sideline on outside runs. Takes very efficient paths on movement blocks. Will quickly transition to a block on the second level. Very accurate hitting his marks and keeps his feet under him. Sustains blocks through the entirety of the play. Doesn’t hesitate to create or get into a scrum. Still fights and can get the job done while losing balance. Very instinctive with high awareness. Outstanding field vision. Terrific technique as a pass blocker. Extremely poised and patient. Stays square with perfect posture. Uses both hands to attach himself to rushers. Calmly moves his feet to stick with opponents. Shows late and sudden anchor strength versus power rushes. Quick to close the door on inside moves. Able to speed up to stay with deeper rushes.

Weaknesses

Technique might hide average mirror quickness and athleticism. Needs to be wary of jersey tugs when beat for when he feels the defender might make the tackle. Below-average length at tackle shows up when defenders get their hands on him. Could struggle with pure speed rushes. Ends up on the ground at times.
